Welcome to the IEEE 15th International Symposium on Power Electronics for Distributed Generation Systems (PEDG 2024), where the future of power electronics and sustainable energy convergence awaits! Building on the successes of our past symposiums, we are excited to embark on this journey with you in the picturesque city of Luxembourg from June 23rd to June 26th, 2024.
PEDG 2024 is proudly sponsored by the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) and coordinated by the PELS Technical Committee on Sustainable Energy Systems, alongside the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST). Following enlightening symposiums in Charlotte, Xi'an, Croatia, Kiel, and Shanghai, which attracted around 300 participants each, the PEDG 2024 will convene in Luxembourg to provide an international platform for discussing how our expertise in power electronics can transform distribution systems, leading us towards a more sustainable future.
PEDG 2024 promises a dynamic fusion of plenary speeches, tutorials, and meticulously curated technical sessions. These sessions will delve deep into the theory, analysis, design, and deployment of power electronics for distributed generation, energy storage, and sustainable sources. This landmark symposium will shed a compelling light on emergent configurations, controls, applications, and tests in the renewable energy domain, with a keen focus on the steps needed to achieve carbon peaking and neutrality goals. Join us at PEDG 2024, where the future of sustainable energy is not just a topic of discussion, but an actionable reality.
Every contribution to PEDG 2024 will garner significant recognition, with all conference papers earning an EI-indexing and inclusion in IEEE Xplore. Moreover, selected papers will have the prestigious opportunity to be considered for publication in special issues or sections of IEEE PELS journals, including JESTPE and TPEL. These selections will be based on review scores from PEDG 2024 and feedback from the engaging audience at the conference. To enrich the experience for our younger academics, student travel grants will be available, and outstanding works will be recognized with best paper awards. Please submit your final paper in an IEEE Explore-compliant PDF format by 15th May, 2024 at 23:59 CET at https://pedg2024.exordo.com. Your paper must comply with the specifications listed in the guide for authors.

Call for Tutorials
We are excited to invite tutorial proposals for PEDG 2024, offering a unique opportunity for experts to share their knowledge and expertise with our diverse audience.
Each tutorial session will provide an in-depth exploration of relevant topics and will typically last for 3 hours. To express our appreciation for your contribution, each accepted tutorial will receive one complimentary conference registration. Additionally, an honorarium will be provided to recognize the valuable expertise you bring to PEDG 2024. Please note that for those interested in presenting a technical paper, a paid full conference registration will still be required.
